    Hi,

I’m relatively new to WordPress and coding pages. I have set up my site and I am using some widgets I have installed and placed in the sidebar. The theme I am currently using places the login/register link at the very bottom of the page, and I think people are not seeing it. I was hoping to cut and paste the code from the theme (for the login part) into the sidebar so it is more visible, but I am not sure how to do this. I am also wondering if manual changes can be done since I am already using widgets in the sidebar.

Any help or ppointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

  • Use a TEXT widget and put the code in there. You can use regular XHTML in a text widget, and that way it will fall in line with the rest of your sidebar.

    Hope that helps.

Well, yes and no. It did definitely help and was the answer to my question…but the code I pasted in just didn’t work quite the way I wanted it to. I’ll have to post that as a separate question.

It’s one piece of the puzzle though, so I’m a step closer, thanks!
