• Hello all. I am quite new to the whole “WordPress” website deal and I have been attempting to update our company website for a good amount of time. When I updated a new theme, it looks like a few links that were on the previous site are now missing. One of the links that used to be near the title header was a contact us/apply now link which took the user to the apply now portion of the website. Is there a way to add that somehow through a widget that I am not aware of? Does all of this make sense?

    I’m trying here. ??

    Thanks in advance.

  • Some themes have widgetized headers and some don’t. Is that maybe the issue?

The most ovbious answer is that the link was hard-coded into the header.php file of your theme. If that’s the case you should be able to cut-and-paste it into the new theme (you should do this through a child theme so that your changes don’t get over-written). Just be a little careful as any CSS Styling won’t be transferred with it, but you can add that into your new styles CSS file as well.
