    Hi,

I am adding Amazon affiliate links and using the picture with the code from the Site Stripe. In the past, pasting this in would create a regular image block and I could input the Thirsty Affiliates link for the image. Now, it’s creating a TA Image block, and there is no option to add a link to the product on the image itself.

Am I overlooking something, or is this a missing feature in TA at this time?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @krlgroupfl,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

We’ve introduced TA Image block so you can easily insert affiliate link images on your posts. Unfortunately, the block doesn’t allow you to insert a link because it automatically applies the affiliate link to the selected image.

I suggest creating an affiliate link first on ThirstyAffiliates > Affiliate Links and upload the image there with the Destination URL. Then you can easily insert the image using TA Image Block.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Ray,

I’m not uploading the image. It’s hosted by Amazon. Another user posted the same issue. It’s the the TA Image block is used by default, and it won’t let me use the regular image block. Is there a way to override that so I can still use the standard image block?

    Hi @krlgroupfl,

    Thanks for your response.

If you are using convert to blocks, at the moment, it converts the images as a TA Image Block by default when ThirstyAffiliates is enabled.

As a workaround, you can temporary disable ThirstyAffiliates when you do convert to blocks. Alternatively, you can manually replace the TA Image block with the regular Image block.

Please be aware we’re already looking into this issue with our developers. However, we can’t provide an ETA for the fix yet. Rest assured that we’ll keep you in the loop for updates.

I’m glad to inform you that we’ve released ThirstyAffiliates version 3.9.

In this update, we’ve included the fix regarding the issue that convert-to-blocks automatically converts images on posts as ThirstyAffiliates Image block.

Please update to the latest version to get the latest bug fix and feature improvements.
