    Hi Patti,

You can achieve this with Toppings addon as it allows to add radio button price variations. It works with eCommerce enabled only.

If you have no interest in offering eCommerce web-ordering? I would have thought this would be a basic feature. Basic price attributes. Without it you have to do double entries. This is a bit of a pain, and looks unprofessional with all the redundancy. Its a glaring omission on a plugin that otherwise is pretty stellar.

    Hi @plaguebearer,
If you use plugin just for listing menu items (without selling them) you can describe size variations in the description of each menu item.
Also you can use clone posts plugins that allows to duplicate post types in order to add size variation faster.
We’ll also review your suggestion about the feature you described. We would also appreciate of you provide some examples of listing size variations of the same menu item.

Hello MotoPress, she doesn’t want an e-commerce site.

Typically a Chinese restaurant will display the pricing of fried rice, soup, or lunch/dinner serving as follows:

Pork Fried Rice …………………..$4.99 Sm $7.99 Lg
Wonton Soup ………………………$2.99 pint $6.99 quart
    Beef & Broccoli …………………..$6.99 lunch $9.99 dinner

I really need these attributes. Love the plugin but if I can’t get it to work for me, I may have to go elsewhere.

With regards to clone posts plugin, I took a look at this, not sure how this relates to size variation.

    Hi @perksonus,
Thank you for your explanation. If you use Restaurant Menu plugin for listing menu items only you can add price variations to the description of each menu item.
Also it is possible to add new parameters using custom fields e.g. Advanced Custom Field plugin.
We’ll keep your suggestion in mind for further plugin development. Thank you.

    Hi

Yes I could add the price variations to the description of each menu. If I do this, what do I put as the price? I have to add something or it will default to 0.

    Hi @perksonus,
yes, you can simply remove price and it won’t show price at all. You will see just prices added via description.

Would love to see the ability to enter prices for different sizes as well. I am developing a website for a pizza restaurant and need a price for each size. Adding the price to the description makes it difficult to control a nice layout. Also too easy for a clients to accidentally delete any divs/styles used for layout.

There are other plugins that provide this functionality. Yours was my favorite until I noticed the pricing issue.

Keep up the good work! ??

    Hi @zerogravity,
Thank you for your comment. We’ll review this possibility in further plugin development. Currently you can try using third party plugins to add custom fields.
