Adding Left-Hand Sidebar to Kubrick Theme

I’m been working with the default Kubrick theme for awhile — I’ve made a bunch of small mods in terms column width, etc, but it’s pretty much the same theme. I would like to add a left-hand sidebar capability to this theme. Is there a way I could do this easily? Or relatively easily?

If not, can anyone recommend a theme that has a left and right sidebar and might not be too different to work with?
