• I’m trying to add practice JavaScript files to my WordPress site for students to download. I have created a JavaScript course and want its students to be able to come to my site and get all the JS files from one page. When I try to upload JS file I get an error that these types of files are not allowed. Any way to work around it.

If I’m unable to upload them on the site, would it be safe for me to give Google Drive links.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If you place your JS files into a .zip file, that file can be uploaded into the media library. You could upload individual .js files directly to your server via FTP or your hosting account’s file manager, then manually create download links to the files. They will not appear in the media library, but are still downloadable, assuming they have the correct file permissions.

Linking to Google Drive files is safe as long as your Google Drive permissions are correct and any sensitive files there reside in a more restrictive location.
