• Hi everyone !!
I installed WordPress and set it up at my homepage and I must say that I was impressed to have such a powerful tool with no hard tasks installing it !!.. Thank you WordPress Team, You all deserve a big medal of some kind.
    Now on to my question..
If I wanted to add something in the menu bar (Same type of header maybe different color) together with the same kind of content stuff (Same font, same colour). What I was thinking of was a type of “Currently Listening” “Currently Reading”…
If you have any help of what I should add in the .css file I would be ever gratefully happy

  • You have to edit index.php to add new items to the “menu”.
Looking at the source for index.php will help you identify how to add a new item there. If it is confusing, tweak, it play around with it, and you will be done in a short while.
Tip: try to copy and paste one item that is currently there in the menu section of index.php so as to have two copies of it, then you can change the copied item to what you need to. For example try to add a duplicate “other” section to the menu.
Another Tip: work on a copy of index.php saved as , say, index2.php and see the changes, so that visitors to your blog will not see the results of your experiments
    Good luck ??
