Adding img alt text?

  • I did a seach engine optimization analysis and the main problem with my website was that the image alt text analysis was horrendous. I even activated the “seo friendly images” plugin but that didnt seem to add in the “alt text”. I’m not 100% sure what it is, does anyone know how to add in alt texts?

    My site is: https://gainweightspot.com and it is currently using “SEO friendly images” but with no alt texts, it seems…

    Anyone know how to add img alt text tags on wordpress???

    Add new post or page, or open an old one. When you click the ‘add an image’ icon a box appears from where you can choose From Computer, URL or Media Library.

    If you then say choose Media Library and click ‘show’ to open the image it will appear in a box which has an ‘Alternate Text’ area you can fill however you like.
