• I want to place an image into the nav menu in twentyseventeen. I’ve tried a couple of methods:

    1. hiding the label text and using a background image for that specific li ( I had to add a height atribute in the css to make it show)

    2. Nav menu images plugin

Both worked, but in both cases the menu stopped being sticky. In method 1 it was adding the height attribute that seemed to cause it.

Can anyone help me to shed light on this? I can’t work it out…

you can look at it here, but this url will expire in a few days… I can come back and repost if that happens https://erofk.hosts.cx

    Thanks in advance

  • Vik, it seems like it may also be breaking your menu display in 320×480 and 480×320.

So I sorted it out by adding the height atribute to li instead of the individual menu item… still no idea why it happens though, so if anyone does know I’d love to hear it
