Over the past, not just recently or current version of the plugin I have an issue with a sticky gallery.
I have an gallery – via a shortcode – that is in a sticky post on the home page. I realize there are other ways to place a gallery on a page instead of inside a sticky post but this works best for me.
It is often the case that the same gallery is used – for example to add an image to it or replace an image in it. Caching causes an issue so that the new or replaced image is not shown and the ‘previous’ version of the gallery is shown. It is ofcourse fixed when I deactivate the plugin altogether or disable cache in the control settings.

I have also tried various other settings, just to test
-Lowering the Default Public Cache TTL and Default Front Page TTL and waited till the time passes, then force reloaded the browser page and it is not consistently fixed.
-Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update to All
-Do Not Cache URIs of the sticky post (/2017/01/04/latest/ for example but other paths too)

Is there a way to consistently work with a changing gallery?

Do Not Cache URIs of the sticky post (/2017/01/04/latest/ for example but other paths too)

I serve stale off and purged all. In one try it works, not sure it’s good to have it off though, load wise?

It’s gallery in a sticky post, see screenshot, imagine I replace the left most image and just resave the gallery. The new one is often, if not always, not shown.

I don’t think caching is issue here , but maybe something else , as I can see you have it exclude on cache as well

the most important thing is to have a way to reproduce it , if it can be easily reproduced , it will much easier to investigate

Yes strange, I have gone through cache settings as you allude to so not sure what reproducing to do, cause that gallery is always changed in the same way but the end result (of showing or not showing the ‘new’ image) is inconsistent.

Will try some more and be back if I can reproduce better, thanks for the quick support.
