Adding Images on HomePage

Alright, I haven’t gotten this issue resolved as of yet.

I am trying to insert 2 pictures on the homepage. The current text boxes I have on there now were put there using widgets. However, whenever I try to add a picture on the homepage through a text box widget, it merges with the last box on the page and looks horrible.

How can I insert 2 images on the bottom of the page, without it merging with the white text box at the bottom of the page?

SideNote: The image I have at the top of the page was put there by editing the homepage PHP file. Not sure if I will have to use that file as well to insert 2 pictures in there or not. (Thought this may be helpful).
