Adding image to the left of the menu bar

Yes, both are possible. It’s just a matter of getting the CSS right and having the right “containers” for the logo and menu, so it’s easier to manipulate them into the right positions.

I see an image to the left of your memu. I don’t know what you mean by keeping the sub-menu from closing, as that would be a total mess!

There’s CSS that seems to limit the logo height to 80px. What happens if you add a large image where the logo is now?

I looked at that,but you don’t have the assets in place to work on that. Your menu is too full and you don’t have a large image and you still have that large slider in place.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

The one you described is the logo image upload, which is working fine with almost all the themes.

Generically speaking, I’d probably (1) make a child theme, (2) add a widget area (sidebar) and (3) drop the sidebar into the appropriate template file, then (4) use a simple widget to put the image in place.

Why a sidebar rather than just putting an image directly into the template? Because about 10 minutes later, someone will say “How about putting some text below that image.” (Been there, done that.)
