Adding image associated with url

  • Hi,
    Can someone let me know how to add an image so when I post my wordpress site it will be the default icon associated with my site?

    I don’t want a favicon I want a image, favicons are super tiny and are for browsers. I want when I post my url page the image that is attached is one I choose

    This question was never properly answered. Anybody know where to go next? I have the same problem.

    When I post a link to a page on my website, I want to be able to set the image that shows up with the link, as on Facebook.

    I am now closing this 3 month old topic as it references an older version of WordPress.
