I am trying to past a Twitter button HTML code into a Text widget, once I hit save, it never saves, I just see the thing spinning for ever.

I tried to do the same thing with a twitter feed from my twitter account, past into text widget and then hit save, it never saves. I tried in all 3 browsers and same issue.

    Any suggestions?

  • What is your HTML code ?

Twitter API server faces downtimes. Try with a easy code (like that of image logo).

Thanks I think you are right… I was able to put in one for Facebook and other things… I thought it was WordPress but I think you are correct, it was a twitter issue. Thanks for responding!

That thing creates problem for me frequently. I searched and found for myself in dev.twitter.com to fix that, Twitter shut downs the API server when it faces overload.

But right now it is not down :

I am using Theme integrated widget though. I check with others to see if its wrongly or Twitter is working wrongly.
