Adding horizontal lines in Weaver 2010

    I am trying to add horizontal lines between paragraphs, using the Weaver 2010 theme. I can see that the lines are there, but they are barely visible. How can I make them thicker and darker? I tried <hr size=”6″ /> but it had no effect.
