Adding Header & Footer Code to Category Pages

    Hello,

    I’m looking for a solution to add header and footer code to category pages including Woocommerce product category pages. Individual product post types are included in the setting options, but there is no category option that I can see.

    Is it possible to add header and footer code to category pages with your plugin?

    Hi @charlesatx,

    On standard WordPress categories, we inject the global HEAD/BODY/FOOTER codes. There is no support for the category-specific HEAD/BODY/FOOTER codes.

    We have not tested the Head & Footer Code on the WooCommerce product category.

    Please let us know if you need a global-category and individual-category specific HEAD/FOOTER/CODE? That would require implementation (we had no request for that feature until now). Due to the current amount of work, we cannot provide an implementation ETA (a month or even more).

    Thank you for your response.

    Individual category specific header code injection is what we need. Our intention is to add structured data markup for parent categories of different product lines.

    Hello @charlesatx,

    Thank you for the clarification of the goal you trying to achieve. We would very likely implement category-specific HFC support, but probably not before summer.

    I would highly recommend you to add structured data markup dynamically by customizing the WooCommerce category template or by some specialized plugin for that, than to do it by hardcoding structured data through HFC.
