Adding flash and its thumbnail

Still looking for help.

I want like https://www.noob.us have.

your flash ONLY works on the index page because your not using the full url when you add it.

Dont use: <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="/blah/flash.swf" width="xx" height="xx">

Use: <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="https://www.mydomain.org/blah/flash.swf" width="xx" height="xx">

I think you are not getting me :

My site is https://www.lonelyloser.com/ (which shows the flash video on the index page)

And I want like https://www.noob.us (which shows thumbnail only on index page and flash in permalink page)

Please let me know how to add thumbnail on index and flash in permalink.
If there is any such plugin, let me know.

OK. Look all that site does is use an image to link back to the permalink. The image happens to be a shot of the flash movie.

Thats not that hard to accomplish. I can do it with excerpts, for instance.

This will allow you to associate an image with a post. You will probably need to play with it a little to do EXACTLY what you want, but thats the breaks.

I asked noob.us webmaster but he had not replied yet.

Please any expert help resolving this problem and I think it will help many of bloggers like us.

install and activate plugin filosofo-home-page-control

then create a PAGE not a post.

then using options set that page as your deafult home page. On that page put your thumbnails with permalinks to other posts or pages as desired.

But that will not show posts content on main page.

On clicking the thumbnail, thumbnail disappears and is replaced by flash video.

the thumnail is a jpg file and it has a link to another post. Why cant you replicate that? Thumbnail is not replaced by flash on the same page. It loads another page.
Look at the code in noob.
