Adding Filters

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is the use of “#colspan#` in the table. Unfortunately, the DataTables JS library does not support that. You must remove that from the table if you want to use filtering or sorting.

you could maybe take a look at the TablePress Extensions from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-column-filter/ and https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/
They can do this to some extent.

the table simply is pretty big. First, it takes time to send all data from the server to the browser and then the JavaScript code has to run.
This simply takes a few moments. I don’t know a way to make it faster, sorry.
