  • Hello Jon,

    Thank you for your post.

    The custom fields are available only on the BUP Dashboard. Custom fields can’t be included in email templates on the lite version. This feature is available only on premium versions.

    Hi, so if I understand correctly, you can’t add any extra customer editable fields in the free version?

    @js42uk,

    You can ad as many custom fields as you wish with the free version. These fields will be displayed at the step #3 of the booking form. However, they won’t be included in the emails. If you need to check those fields you will need to see it through the BUP Dashboard, just click on an appointment and you will see all the information the client has submitted when booking.

    Just to clarify, you can add and display custom fields in the booking form, as many as you wish. The only difference with the paid version is that the custom fields are not included in the emails.

    Cheers

    That is what I though. However, when I add the new fields and check in he BUP Dash for the info, the new fields are empty???

    Customers are telling me they have filled them in, but the info is not there.

    The only thing that happens is when a customer adds a comment, then whatever the comment says is repeated in the new fields I created.

    Perhaps I am adding the new fields incorrectly – is there any guidance in adding the fields?

    Regards

    Jon

    Hi, I opened a ticket via the link you gave and I included this url yes.

    Good morning,
    last saturday I wrote an email to ask you how to add custom fields we’ve created in email templates.
    I’ve a paid version, but I don’t now how to set up them!

    I’ve read a lot of post asking the same questions:

    Hi, When i add new fields for customers to fill in with their details, the fields are coming through with no info in them.
    However, anything added in the default comments box is also added to the new field boxes??
    Do I have to add a separator before every new field?
    Regards
    Jon

    Hey,
    I’ve tried multiple tags for getting the custom fields on the registration from (appointment info) to show up in Admin emails, like:
    Email: {{bup_client_email}}
    Number: {{bup_client_phone}}
    But nothing seems to work for the form:
    Form: {{bup_client_form}}
    bup_field_value
    bup_client_field_value
    bup_desc (custom meta)
    bup_uultra-icon-question-sign uultra-tooltip2
    bup-custom-form-id

    Any help would be appreciated in getting the text entered in the field to show up in the admin email
    @ksfshaolin,
    Thank you very much for your post.
    Custom fields within the email templates is available only on premium versions.

    And you’ve answered at the same way: “Custom fields within the email templates is available only on premium versions”
    So we have a premium versions, how can we do that?
    Looking forward to hearing from you soon! (24-48h?)

    Thank you.

    I am having the same issue as js42uk when I am testing out the booking function.

    The following link is a screenshot show on my BUP.
    https://bit.ly/1roJNX3

    All 3 fields were submitted with information, but only the address field show up in my BUP appointment page. The difference between the “address field” and the other two were that the “address field” were pre-filled with information through custom meta field and the other two fields were typed in with text right before submitting for the appointment.

    I hope this helps clarify the problem. Please help.

    @h2night,
