Adding Featured Products to top of Category Archive Pages

I’ve been playing around in
taxonomy-product-cat.phpandarchive-product.phpand can’t seem to figure out how to achieve this. What I’m trying to do: display the Featured Products for each individual category, at the top of the page, before the Recent Products. Is this a feature that would require a simple check of the box, and I’m just missing it?
