Adding Featured Image to Latest Post Block

I can see your point about wanting a bit more control over the appearance and structure of the latest posts block. I am not sure if that can be done solely with CSS. It may require programmatic changes to achieve what you are looking for. Either way the latest posts block is not one that is provided by the CoBlocks plugin but is from Gutenberg editor itself.
