Adding favicon

    Hi

    Can I add a favicon? I’ve created one. The ‘ReadMe’ along with it says to upload to ‘the root of your web folder.’
    What is the root of my web folder? If dumbdumb.com is my website, would it be public_html/dumbdumb?

    It then says to, ‘Add the following HTML code to your web page, in between <head> and </head> tags: <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico” >’.

    There are no <head> and </head> tags that I see. Should I add them and put the favicon bit between them at top of page?
