Adding extra info as individual data
-
Hi,
I’m not an expert, but I’ve been using WordPress for maybe 10+ years so I feel comfortable with a few things, but I pretty much use it for what I need and when I need something else I explore that particular thing.
I’m building a website for musicians, organized by Location (right now just available in the US) and then Categories (drummer, venue, singer, etc).
I was thinking of using the content field to include all important info such as Website, Social Media, Address, etc. All as just plain text. But I would like to know if I can add each information as a separate database item, but still show up on the page. I’m not sure if Custom Fields is something that works that way, since I haven’t really researched 100%, but I would like to know if you guys can clarify me.
So for example I would like to have the normal Title (to create both the name and the slug) and then individual fields for other info as mentioned above. But in the end, even if they are individual fields, that information would show up in the page, not like Categories which is more of an internal way of organizing things.
Hope it makes sense! ??
Thanks!
