    Excellent theme!

    is there a way of adding an excerpt? I don’t use a featured image so my post list contains just the titles. I added the excerpt in WordPress option but it does not show up. Thanks

    You can accomplish this by creating a child theme. Just copy the content.php into it and add the php code for the excerpt to that.

    I had the exact same requirement for this theme recently, so I just uploaded my slightly adjusted child theme to Github. Feel free to download and install it, or take a look at the code as an example for your own child theme.

    Why a child theme? It gives you the option to tweak the design a little and keep the changes when the parent theme is updated. More about child themes.
