adding embed audio to post in Hamilton is messy

  • hello,

    i really need help. i’m trying to embed some audio files. but seems it won’t work perfectly & can’t appear correctly in Hamilton theme?
    the function works, but the buttons are pretty messed up like this:

    i’ve tried a single mp3 track and also creating playlist. both seems broken.
    please anyone help me..

  • I have had the same issue when publishing a mp3 file with the original WordPress Player. I tried an Audio-Player Plugin – and it works. But I do not like to use too many plugins….

    Hi @duhar,

    Did you add the audio through the Add Media button in the WordPress post/page editor, or did you add with a plugin? Hamilton doesn’t include any styling for the regular HTML5 audio embed (which the default media in WordPress uses for output), so there shouldn’t be any issues with it on the theme level.

    If it’s possible, a link to a post/page where the problem occurs would make the troubleshooting easier.

    yes I use the Add Media button & create audio playlist from WordPress, without any plugin.
    I googled about this issue with no luck & ended trying to hide its messiness using transparent/white color.

    Can you post a link to a post/page where this is happening? If it’s an issue on the theme level, I’d like to fix it in a future update.

    I’m having the same problem: it’s like all button states are showing simultaneously. Would be great to have this fixed.
