    Hello!

    My client has quite a large footer area, and they need to be able to modify it like a regular post or page.

    It shows their locations, has a form, etc. and needs to be shown at the bottom of every page.

    I think I can do this by using a plugin like Black Studio Tiny MCE Widget.

    So once I enter the info into the widget, is it possible for me to add it to the footer so it will show up on every page?

    Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks!!

    first register a sidebar and then you can open footer.php and add a widgetized area above this line:

    <footer id="main-footer" class="footer-wrap<?php ac_mini_disabled() ?> clearfix">

    Thank you! It worked!

    I’m having a lot of trouble with styling, once I added the widget into the footer it’s like starting over with a blank slate. No margins, wrong font sizes, headings are wrong sizes, etc. When I try to look up all these styles most of them say inherit or 100% and I can’t find the original styles.

    Any advice or tips on how I can maintain the same look throughout the footer?

    Thanks so much!

    The only thing you can do is style those elements.

    Sorry, but I can’t help you with that, it’s custom work and it takes a lot of time and debugging.

    You can try https://jobs.wordpress.net/

    @katie_thompson Would you mind providing your url to take a look? I am trying to do something similar and maybe I can help you with those details!

    Hi! Unfortunately it fell through with my client so the site isn’t active anymore. The above instruction worked though, and I had to define a whole separate set of styles to style the area I inserted above the footer.

    Good to know, thanks for your reply!
