it all depends on how complex a solution you need. if you’re just going to sell a couple of things then you could search for a Paypal plugin to add in buy now type features but if you’re going big then you’ll need a full on solution like woocommerce or wp-ecommerce. both are fully featured and take a lot of configuring so oonly go down that route if you need to!

Will paypal take a % cut of every sale ?

they will but they also have the added bonus of brand trust and insurance against fraud for potential customers where as some random dude selling stuff is less likely to be viewed as inherently dodgy.

i’d like to think you’re not but people get burned online all the time. plus there’s the fact that they handle all the credit card info, the communicate with the banks and you don’t need to pay a fortune for merchant account information and all the other headwrecking stuff that comes with selling stuff.
