Adding Dynamic content to WP Sub Nav

Hi guys,

Could someone point me in the right direction. On my site I am building I am using wordpress menus to create the nav.

I am having Parent categories on the top with a sub nav of the child categories, no issues here. However the designer has incorporate a product (featured) in each sub navigation. This is where I am really struggling on how I am going to make this work.

I have an idea of using Advanced custom fields Option or getting the product ID to retrieve the details to create the content I want to get. But how would I got about adding this into the sub nav?

Each sub navigation is going to have different dynamic content so at the end of the sub nav I need to insert the content dependant on which sub nav it is.

Any information on pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
