• Okay. I am new to wordpress and have only been working with it for about a week. I have been able to create a pretty decent website (I think) with it so far but in has been way more work then I ever imagined, and I have been building websites since the 1990s. I am just not used to the interface and not being able to work directly on the code of a page. This whole, having to download a new plugin to do anything is driving me crazy. Does the wordpress program have any native functions at all to create a website?

I have been trying to figure out how to add a meta description and keywords to the head my home page for a couple days now, it appears there is no way to do this. Of course I downloaded the YOAST plugin and tried that, but that is a total piece of junk that does not allow you to edit anything and respricts you to one keyword unless you upgrade to PRO, which cost $89. Are you freaking kidding me. $89 to edit the header code! Something that I can easily do myself, if you could just have direct access to the code. Insanity!

I just want to access the dang code of the head so I can do some manual modifications to it. Is this possible?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
