Adding Date to Below Post Title

  • Hello,
    I’m having some trouble adding the date to below my post titles.
    My site is demo.thepaisleybox.com

    I’ve tried to use the code that I found here in the forum including <span class="postDate"><?php the_time('F j, Y'); ?> in <?php the_category(', ') ?></span>
    with no luck.

    Can someone help with the code and placement in order to do this?

    what theme are you using?

    the code could possibly go into index.php and single.php within the loop (?)

    Hi Alchymth,

    I tried to put the code into my stylesheet. It’s a custom theme.
    There was not visible change that I could see when I put that code in.

    I pasted the code in several places… pretty much anywhere I found ‘entry-title.’

    tried to put the code into my stylesheet

    stylesheets are for CSS only; templates are for php code.

    Can you also help me out with the code to change the size and color (of the post date)? I want it to be black and 14px.
