Adding Custom Forum Post Meta and Retrieving

I am currently working on a project where I am utilizing the wpForo plugin on a WordPress website. I have a specific requirement to add custom forum post meta (wpforo_postmeta) and retrieve it within a forum post template on a child theme.

Could you kindly provide guidance or documentation on how to achieve this? Any assistance or pointers you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

If you wish to add any custom fields within the topic creation form, you can simply purchase the “wpForo – Topic Custom Fields” addon https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-topic-custom-fields/. All the necessary functionality is already developed and working smoothly.

However, if you prefer to manipulate the wpforo_postmeta table programmatically, you can utilize our special class named wpforo\classes\PostMeta

Okay, thank you for the reply. One more thing: How can I display a favorite list in the BuddyPress Profile Forum menu? there’s a menu for liked posts but not for favourite posts
