Adding Custom Fields To Author Profile

I’m looking to add two custom fields in the author bio/profile/template (which is the correct term?) and have them appear in the user profiles for easy input.

First, I would want a ‘title’ field to appear beside the name. Second, I am hoping I can generate a bio box that is separate for the current bio box in the profile and only is shown in the author bio. This is because I want the text in the author box (that appears below individual posts) to be different than the text that appears in the author profile (which I would expect to be more extensive).

‘2’ in this image is pretty much exactly what I’m thinking (with the filled-out profile being a different field in the user profile than the one that appears in the author box below posts).
