Adding country as an option in form

If you need a country or any other field in your module than those available in Hustle, you can create an Informational module instead of an opt-in, and embed a Forminator form in it. Forminator includes more complex fields, including the country field.

Can I collect email subscriptions using Forminator?

You can collect e-mail addresses using Forminator: all you need is just create a basic form with an “e-mail” type field on it and make sure that plugin is set to save submission in the database.

However, this is not a “newsletter” or “notification” plugin and you cannot send mailings with it. To do so, you would need to either integrate Forminator with one of supported 3rd-party services (see here) or export submissions manually via CSV file to some mailing tool of yours.

And can I create an embedded form or exit intent form using Forminator for email collection?

Once you create a form, you can put it on any page on your site using shortcode or Form block/widget. If by “embedded form” you mean putting the form on a separate, unrelated site – then no, this isn’t possible.

Exit intent – as well as popups and similar – are not “built-in” into Forminator. It’s a form plugin. To show it e.g. on exit intent (in content or in popup) you would need to use it together with our free Hustle plugin.

Thanks for your reply.

Basically what I am trying to achieve is this – Collect email signups using Hustle’s popups(like exit intent) / embeds / slide ins, and while collecting email ids, also include a drop down so that the subscriber can select his/her country. I also want to map the country field to my Sendinblue list automatically, and do not intent to manually upload csv files on sendinblue. (I am already using Hustle, and have already integrated it with Sendinblue for basic field mapping like name and email id). I do not need to use Hustle for sending out emails. I will be doing all of this on my website on which I have Hustle/Forminator, and not any external website.

I am looking to segregate my subscribers basis their country, so that I can send out country specific email campaigns from my sendinblue account. Would all of this be possible with Hustle + Forminator + Sendinblue?

I hope I have been able to explain my requirement. Please let me know if any more information is required.

You could achieve the objective to send the information to SendinBlue with Hustle and Forminator plugins

The exit intent can be triggered in Hustle. In the popup content you can embed a form as indicated in our documents:

Forminator has an address element where you can enable just the Country field, find more information in this link:

For the SendinBlue integration there will be an extra step. Hustle has a direct integration with SendinBlue, but if you need the country field, Forminator is to be used, however, Forminator doesn’t have an integration with SendInBlue yet. In this case, you can use Zapier to receive the information from the form and then from Zapier send the info to SendinBlue.
