Adding Comments to Homepage in WordPress?

  • Hi everyone,

    Need help! How can I let people comment on my homepage? I tried settings but got stuck. Can you help with simple steps?

    Also, I turned on “Allow people to submit comments on new posts” in settings, but can I enable comments on my homepage too? Or does WordPress only allow comments on posts?

  • Your theme’s homepage template may not have the comment form (which is very common, because most sites don’t have comments on the homepage even when using a static homepage).

    Since you’re using the block editor, you can add the COMMENTS block to the homepage (the page you’ve set as your static homepage) to display the comment form and comments.

    Thank you, George Appiah! Adding the COMMENTS block to the homepage worked like a charm. However, I have one more question – is there a way to remove the Email option from this block? I appreciate your help!
