Adding certain posts to certain categories or groups

  • This is another problem I have been to trying to figure out for weeks as well and I cannot seem to find the answer. My site is https://www.chasingcasey.com and my theme is Awaken. I want to add certain posts to certain pages. I know posts and pages are basically the same thing so I guess what I am looking for is how to add posts to certain groups or categories. For example. My blog is all travel. So if i write a post how to travel cheaper I would like to go under “Travel Tips” or If i write a post on why you should take a cruise I would like for it to fall under “Destiniations”. When I write my posts I make sure to check mark the right categories but it still doesnt work. Please help! I’ve been ripping my hair out over this! Any info on this I would greatly appreciate! Thank you

    From looking at your site it looks like you already have that working: when I click on “Travel Tips” I see 3 posts and when I click on “Destination”, I see a total of 6 posts across 2 pages. What isn’t working that you want to?

    (psst – You’ve misspelled ‘Destination’ – you’ve got an extra ‘i’ after the first ‘n’ ??

    Thank you, I actually managed to finally figure it out! Thank you so much anyway and thanks for pointing that out, Ill have to go fix that ASAP!
