Using some open source GNU licensed code, I was able to add a Captcha. However, I was not able to check this in the branches of SVN.
So, I placed it on my ExcursionsToday.com blog for download.

It’s a zip file. Make a backup of your existing plug-in.
Follow the instructions carefully. Two files get FTP’d to your root directory to allow the captcha code to work. There is some <head> code that has to be included in each page. I accomplished this by using the theme’s ability to add some meta tags. If you can add meta tags, thats where you insert the script. See the Readme.txt file in the zip.

I updated the instructions and put a link to the ZIP file on this post.

    Hi Wmantz,

First of all thanks a lot for you efforts! Exactly what I needed.
I have a question about css styling.
Is it possible to add different css classes to the Captchaimage.
At this point I encounter problems aligning the form.

    Thanks!
    Best wishes, Christof
