Adding Capabilities for only 1 plugin

  • I’ve created a site-owner role. They can edit the site, make a post and so on. They can’t add or edit plugins. I want them to be able to back the site up. I use backup buddy. How can I show only the one plugin in the wp admin menu? If it matters I use backupbuddy, but I’ll use something else if I can give my clients backup privileges.

    There’s probably not a clean existing solution for that, but if it’s a simplification issue (and not a security issue), you could use Adminimize or another wp-admin customization plugin to hide the unwanted admin menu items.
