Adding calendar categories to Subscribe2 categories that people can subscribe to

    I’ve been using Subscribe2 for a couple of years and have had no problems with it. It’s great!

    I just installed the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin, which I chose in part because calendar events are also blog posts. A problem I discovered is that the calendar event categories are separate from the other blog categories (we’ll be using the calendar for only some of the blog posts), and these calendar event categories aren’t on the list of categories that Subscribe2 subscribers can subscribe to.

    Is there a way to have the All-in-One Event Calendar categories appear along with the other blog categories when Subscribe2 subscribers choose which categories to subscribe to?

    In theory, Subscribe2 can support both custom post types and custom taxonomies.

    However, we’ve never been able to get Subscribe2 and All In One Event Calendar to work together with each other. I think this maybe because a bespoke events table is used to contain the event data rather than the core posts table.
