• I’ve added bing tracking code to malleableart.com but bing can’t verify the code. I am having the same issue with Pinterest verification code. Google analytics tracking works, but it’s a different type of script. Google Analytics uses <script> tags and Bing/Pinterest uses a <meta name> tag.

Where do I add this code so it tracks across the entire site and is able to be verified?

I think bing validate only the home page, so you can add it only on the home page. I don’t know while it should not validate the site… eventually use a file for validation instead of a meta tag.

It actually works on MalleabeArt.com but still not on schneidercentre.com. SchneiderCentre.com doesn’t work with either. The message below is what I got when trying:

<meta> tag not found before <body>: make sure you place the verification tag with the correct verification key (A5C4087DE5CF70AF909EF0616463D418) in the <head> section and before the <body> tag in your page.

This is the proper tracking code for an example site: <meta name=”msvalidate.01″ content=”A5C4087DE5CF70AF909EF0616463D418″ />

I believe it is properly set in the header currently. Could something be blocking it?

In your site there is only the google verification tag, no the bing one. Check the code you added in your configuration: in the same place you added the google verification code you should add the bing one.
