• Hi,

First of all, thanks for a super solid plugin!

Currently, in the page/post editor, if you click “Add Media”, select an image, and then click “Post Thumbnail Editor”, you’re able to crop the image. So far so good. Unfortunately, there is no “Back” button in the Post Thumbnail Editor dialog, so you must close it and then click “Add Media” again and select the same image again to finally insert it into the post.

A “Back” button currently exists in the bottom-right corner of the standard WordPress Edit Image dialog box linked to from the Add Media dialog, so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be too hard to implement in this plugin as well.

Do you think this feature would be possible? Thanks,

    – Micah

Short answer: It’s possible, but not likely.

Long answer: WordPress has 0 documentation on the media library and no one would answer my questions. Coding up what I do have wasn’t pleasant. Everytime I go back, I have to experience the pain again and I need to psych myself up for the torture. One of these days I might go back there, but I don’t know how soon.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve heard similar things from others about the mess that is the media library frontend.

No promises, but I may be able to spend some time this weekend poking around with the code and will let you know if I get anywhere.
