• I posted a comment yesterday about this but can’t now find it! So, sorry to start a new topic, but I have searched and can’t find anything similar.

I am using an ‘approved’ theme called Beautiful Sunrise 1.2. It is ‘widget ready’ and has a section called ‘available widgets’. Included here used to be ‘blogroll’, but since I updated to 2.3.2 this widget no longer appears in the ‘available widgets’ pane. Clearly, this is an important widget. I don’t know how to rectify this problem. The blogroll itself still exists in admin but it not visible in the sidebar.

Moreover, in ‘Pages’ in the sidebar, ‘Home’ has disappeared and no longer appears in the ‘Pages’ section of admin.

Have these changes occurred due to me updating to 2.3.2? Can they be rectified?

    Thanks in anticipation!

  • Blogroll was changed to “Links” in the drag’n’drop section.

As for the Pages issue, I’ve noticed that the Theme makers usually include “Home”, so it was probably removed due to being so duplicate across the board(Unfortunately, I can’t provide proof of assumption..).

If you turn off the sidebar completely for this theme, the “Home” under Pages returns because it’s been hard coded.
