Adding author box after review

What are you referring to as the “author box”

The BIO + image in the profile.

I did not add an author box feature to Recencio but it should work well with any author box plugin. If you are using an author box plugin it should show at the end of the reviews just like it would for regular post. It is the same if the theme has a built in author box.

OceanWP has a built in author box, but it doesn’t show on the reviews.

So I just installed that theme and it seems that they have written the author box feature to only work on the default WordPress post post type. I find it strange that they would do this.

That line specifically says if the post type is not a post don’t go any further with this file

Any idea if it can be override by some code to the functions.php?
I’ve asked in their FB group 48 hours ago, but got no answer.
