Adding anothere web site

  • I need to create another web site. I already have one running with WP https://ifieldparish.org which is not being hosted by WP. Could someone please tell me how to go about this? I have had a good look at the Dashboard but cannot see any way of creating a new site only to add a new page.

    Thanks for your response Andrew. No, I have never had this problem before as I have never tried to create another web site whilst I already have one running. I have not got the faintest idea how to go about creating a new site. I am quite sure you do not do so by just opening a “New Page”. I suspect I open a Theme and start from there using the site’s name and build on that?

    Creating another website from scratch could be the same as creating your first one:
    – Acquire the domain name
    – Acquire the hosting package
    – Acquire the theme you want to use
    etc.

    OK, thank you. I would be using the same Theme as the other one Charis Church, will that create a problem do you think??

    That sounds like a commercial theme so you’d need to ask your theme’s vendors/ authors about that.
