Adding another page to the theme

To remove the image you’re referring can you please goto Customizer > Theme options > Post/Page/Blog > General under Background > Background Image click on remove.

I think I have last problem. Right now I can not put anything at the top of page “portfolio”. How I can remove that white spot?
