Adding another Category Field

    Hi

    I was wondering, I know there is location, category and tag. Is there a way I could add another? I want one to say “Day” as I am using the plugin to display a list of baby & toddler groups in my area and would like a way I could have days to have their our single group.

    I hope this makes sense.

    I cannot use category or tag as I am using them to identify group types and extra information to aid searching.

    Would be good on home page have “group type (category) and then day” as a second drop down option

    If you go to Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Add Listing Form, you’ll see there are various custom fields available under Custom Fields on the left, one of them is Select which is basically a dropdown option that you can use. You can specify as many options as you like here: https://i.imgur.com/vYV7WjJ.png

    It also can be added to your Search Form from Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Search Form Layout. So this should fulfill your need if I understand your requirement correctly.

    Thanks I’ve just done this but I see it’s not a multi select ?? I need to have option of multi select as groups occur on different days.

    Anyway can get it to multi select?

    If you want a multi-select option, you can use the Checkbox field. If you absolutely need Dropdown, kindly get in touch with our tech support here: https://directorist.com/contact.
