Adding amazon banners in the ad area

Hi,

I just signed up with amazon associates and I’m trying to place copy in the advertisement box in the theme options, but Amazon only provides a script in which the box does not accept.

How can I post the following example?:

Can amazon shortcode such as this, [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin=”XXXXXXXXXX”] work in the advertisement box?

I placed the above code in with a asin#, but nothing displays.
