Adding adsense adverts

  • I had my site https://www.lifestobelived.com set up using Techism and had a Google AdSense set up at the top of the centre column of the three across some time ago. For some reason that ad disappeared, i’m not sure if there was some change in the header if I downloaded an update and it overwrote the adsense code I had inserted in the header?

    After looking at a few Youtube videos I managed to put an ad now right up the top of the screen but it seems to have a lot of padding around it so my site content doesn’t start till a bit below it, is there anyway to reduce the amount of space around this ad?

    Also do you know what or where in the header.php I would need to insert some Google AdSense code to remake an add appear at the top of the centre column, just above where my stories/articles start?

    Sorry for the delay.

    Do you just want to remove the padding between ads and content? Modifying code is not recommended unless you know coding properly.
