Adding Ads (adsense) to feeds

I am wanting to add a google adsense banner to the rss feed. Is this possible. Also I want to format the feeds in someway that reflects the style of my site. I get the NYTimes feeds and they are nicely formatted to match their webpage. Is this possible with wordpress. If so could someone point me in the direction. I was looking at the wp-rss.php files in the root directory and they say that they are no longer used. According to the wordpress webpage you would use this file to edit them but the info isn’t very complete. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
