Adding Ad to Main Events Theme

    I have been running a new portal for some months now and it is time to ad some advertising. I have been able to add some comercials to the side bars via widgets but I need the golden real estate in the header. I have tried several things but none seem to work. I contacted the designer and he tells me to insert:

    <div id=”header” style=”background: url(<?php echo $header_bg; ?>) no-repeat;”>

    in a specific part of the header.What this does is doubles the space in the header pushing all my info down further. Does anyone know the controls for this command… can I make it smaller?, if I move it to another line will it show above or below the header?

    Ideally, I would love to see the Ad space below the header but above my features items!
