    Hi,

I have a client who would like to use the sale date, yet start the sale at a different time than the default. They start their sale at 5pm on the start of sale day and close the sale at 4pm on the close of sale day. Is anybody able to help me put in a time that reflects the above.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Helen

  • Hi @hlnbee

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your client’s requirement to start a sale at a different time than the default using the sale date feature in WooCommerce.

By default, WooCommerce does not provide an option to customize the start time of a sale. The sale dates are based on the full day, starting at 12:00 am and ending at 11:59 pm.

However, there is a third-party plugin called “WooCommerce Sale Discount Scheduler” that might be able to fulfill your client’s specific requirements. This plugin allows you to schedule discounts based on specific start and end dates, including the ability to set custom times for the start and end of the sale.

We hope this information helps you in achieving your client’s desired sale start and end times.

I encountered the exact same error.
The discount amount is displaying the same as the sales amount,
until I modify the date again.

Running WooCommerce 8.3 currently, and no error logs have been found.

From what I understand, you’re experiencing an issue where the discount amount is displaying the same as the sales amount until the date is modified. You’re currently running WooCommerce 8.3 and have not found any error logs related to this issue.
